Bio

ASIAH HOLM is a Cree First Nations artist based in Vancouver, BC. Her multidisciplinary practice spans music, acting, writing, and production. She was drawn to creative expression from an early age, immersing herself in choir, piano, and drama throughout her childhood.

Though music was always present, Asiah’s formal training began at the University of Alberta, where she earned a combined Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education. She went on to teach elementary school for several years before making the pivotal decision to leave the classroom and fully commit to her artistic career.

Since then, Asiah has independently written, recorded, and produced multiple singles, two EPs, and a full-length album. Alongside her music work, she has built a diverse acting portfolio across film, television, commercial, and theatre.

In recent years, Asiah has deepened her connection to her Cree heritage through time spent with family on Flying Dust First Nation. After growing up with limited access to this part of her identity, she is now actively reclaiming and exploring her cultural roots—an ongoing journey that continues to inform and shape her artistic voice!
